Java Swing, Qt, Web GUIs, ...

Short case studies have also been realized in Java Swing, Selenium and Qt environments. Java Swing and Selenium support was gained by creating an integration between the TEMA test engine and a popular keyword-based testing framework called the Robot Framework. This integration allows the use of any Robot framework testing libraries with the TEMA toolset: http://code.google.com/p/robotframework/. Swing testing was experimented with the jEdit editor application and Selenium testing against our own TEMA Web GUI.

The Qt testing is facilitated using the Testability Driver (https://projects.forum.nokia.com/Testabilitydriver), which uses a plug-in for Qt that enables GUI widget access for testing purposes. Currently, we have experienced running model-based tests on Qt applications running in Windows, Ubuntu, Maemo (N900) and Meego.
